Blast in gunpowder factory of Turkey
Surrounding houses and business places were damaged, and a fire broke out after the blast.

The gunpowder factory of Mechanical and Chemical Industry Corporation (MKE) in the central-Anatolian province of Kirikkale was rocked by an explosion which triggered a fire on Friday. Blast took place at the seventh kilometre of Kayseri highway of Turkey.

ANS PRESS informed referring to Turkish press that 2 workers died ans 16 injured as a result of the blast.

Surrounding houses and business places were damaged, and a fire broke out after the blast.

Many ambulances and fire engines were sent to the scene.

Kirikkale Governor Mustafa Bahrettin Demirer is also examining the scene.
