More police will ensure security in public places, particularly around mosques.
Any attempts to hold unsanctioned actions and rallies on Ashura Day will be suppressed, the head of Press Service of Baku Head Police Office Galib Rahimov told ANS PRESS. Police will prevent any unsanctioned massive actions and rallies in accordance with law. According to Rahimov, the police will tighten security measures to ensure the security of people visiting mosques and to guarantee the public order.
